Please see "Areas we cover" page to see what type of lessons we offer where you are
- Take an intensive course and pass in 2-4 weeks
- We offer intensive driving courses to suit individual requirements and time scales.
- Our bespoke range of courses are suitable for everybody, from beginners with no driving experience through to people who have had driving lessons/tests already.
- Our intensive courses can be arranged over on a time scale, depending on your requirements.
- Your choice of manual or automatic car
- Fully qualified male or female driving instructor
- Free pick-up from home, work or school 7 days a week
- Your choice of daytime, evening or weekend lessons
- No other pupil in the car
- Reasonably priced courses that deliver the highest standard of driving tuition to our pupils
- Residential courses available for those who live outside our catchment area
- Our prices include the driving lessons and use of our driving school car for your driving test. Pupils must have passed their theory test before commencing an intensive course, unless the course is arranged over a longer time scale (e.g. 4 weeks). This is because a practical driving test cannot be booked until you have passed your theory.
Assessment Lesson
We recommend a 2 hour assessment lesson before you book your intensive course. This allows the opportunity for you to meet your instructor and for him/her to assess which course would be most suitable for your driving needs. For a novice driver with no previous experience, we recommend a 40 hour course.
Driving Tests
As from the 12th May 2026, the DVLA are bringing in new rules regarding booking driving tests.
Only the candidate can legally book, amend or cancel their driving test.
Candidates can only change their driving test booking twice. Further changes require existing test to be cancelled, fee refunded and for candidates to then reapply for another test appointment.
From 9th June 2026, candidates are required to only book their driving test at one of three nearest test centres to where they live.
To cancel or rebook an existing booking 10 full working days are required otherwise fee paid will be forfeited.
To book or amend a driving test you will need your driving licence and if you have an existing booking you will need a booking reference number.
Always use the Gov.uk website to book/change your driving test.
Due to these new rules we are not allowed to book tests for candidates taking intensive courses. We will however guide candidates through this process.
We strongly believe tests will be readily available given DVLA are stopping ‘Bookers’ using bots to grab available test dates and selling them at exorbitant prices.
The government says on average a pupil needs 47 hours of lessons with a driving instructor plus 22 hours with family and friends. It tends to be less with an intensive course.
