  • Residential courses available for those who live outside our catchment area
  • Our prices include the practical test fee (£62.00) test guaranteed at the end of course, driving lessons and use of our driving school car for your driving test plus short notice practical test. Pupils must have passed their theory test before commencing an intensive course, unless the course is arranged over a longer time scale (e.g. 4 weeks). This is because a practical driving test cannot be booked until you have passed your theory.

Assessment Lesson

We recommend a 2 hour assessment lesson before you book your intensive course. This allows the opportunity for you to meet your instructor and for him/her to assess which course would be most suitable for your driving needs. For a novice driver with no previous experience, we recommend a 40 hour course.

The government says on average a pupil needs 47 hours of lessons with a driving instructor plus 22 hours with family and friends. It tends to be less with an intensive course.
